Detailed Route ScheduleDay 1: Arrival at Siliguri & Scenic Transfer to Aritar
Receive a warm welcome at NJP Station/Bagdogra Airport. Drive through the picturesque foothills to Aritar. Visit the boot-shaped Aritar (Lampokhari) Lake and enjoy a peaceful boating session. Dine and overnight stay at a cozy StayNest homestay.
Day 2: Scenic Climb to Zuluk & Sunset at Thambi Viewpoint
Drive up to Zuluk (9,400 ft) via Rongli for permit checks. Stop by the beautiful Que Khola Waterfalls. As the sun sets, drive to Thambi Viewpoint to witness a breathtaking panoramic view of Mt. Kanchenjunga and the winding Silk Route loops. Stay at a warm, rustic local homestay.
Day 3: High Altitude Kupup Lake & Baba Mandir Exploration
Early morning drive through Zuluk Loops to sunrise point. Continue to Kupup at 13,000 ft to see the famous Elephant Lake, Yak Golf Course (highest in the world), and the historic Old Baba Mandir. Return to Zuluk for an evening of local songs and hot momos by the kitchen hearth.
Day 4: Departure via Rongli Gorges
Have a delicious local breakfast, pack your bags, and drive down through winding gorges back to Siliguri/Bagdogra with memories that will last a lifetime.
